I started training with Karen 2 years ago, in preparation for my wedding day. In only 4 months, Karen helped me to lose over 14 inches thanks to weekly training sessions comprising of TRX, boxing and HIIT. This, coupled with excellent advice regarding nutrition helped me to achieve the results I was desperate for.

Karen’s sessions are challenging, innovative, and most importantly, fun. I instantly felt at ease with Karen thanks to her infectious enthusiasm and encouragement and now, 2 years on, I consider Karen a friend as well as my trainer.

Karen has recently trained me through to my 37th week of pregnancy and since the birth of my son, has helped me to return to my pre-pregnancy shape. Karen’s knowledge of fitness and wellbeing is extensive and I will always be grateful to her for getting me into ‘that’ wedding dress!

I’ve trained with Karen for 3 years now and I’m in the best shape I’ve been, which is down to her. Working shift work and unsociable hours means I can’t get to the gym or do classes, which is why I turned to karen.


I know that if I can only fit in an hour in the week to exercise, working out with karen will be a rewarding, challenging workout.

My sessions are energetic, motivating and always good fun. The sessions are tailored around me and she always knows to take it down a notch when I’m not feeling my best. We use a variety of equipment such as TRX, battle rope and boxing.

Karen is inspirational and I can only aspire to have her fitness levels!

Karen is the best personal trainer I have worked with. I have always been into fitness and haven’t met anyone as knowledgeable, innovative and understanding.


She has been a coach, cheerleader and chief of helping me get back to my pre-baby marathon weight! I’ve lost more than three stone in six months with the help of TRX training twice weekly, a daily food diary and nutrition advice from Karen.

I have been personal training with Karen for the last five years. Not being a natural, it speaks volumes that this is the longest period I have ever committed to any form of regular exercise! What has kept me going?


Karen has a remarkable talent for adapting her sessions to the individual client. She took time to get to know my likes and dislikes (I still hate lunges but at least now I can do them properly) and to really understand what I wanted to achieve. She never backs away from pushing me that little bit harder when she knows I  need it but equally cleverly adapts our sessions if necessary. For me variety is the spice of life and Karen is constantly updating her own qualifications in order to offer her clients the broadest possible experience.


Never has this been more apparent than during this current period of lockdown. We have continued our twice weekly sessions on Zoom and have even introduced a third shared session with two other friends. She came up with some really clever ways of adapting every day objects to make our sessions fun but really bloody hard work!  My arms were screaming for mercy from lifting those tins of tomatoes !!!!

 In short, Karen has kept me interested , engaged and so much more aware of the benefits of being fit and healthy! Not a bad achievement for someone who isn’t a natural!!! 😍
